Desktop Calendar: September
Two things: It's SEPTEMBER! Where did the year go? (second) I didn't show you a single thing this past month. I swear I've done stuff! Oh well, maybe September will be a little slower. Maybe... Enjoy the calendar!
And, as always, click on the image to be taken to my Flickr account where you can download whatever size you want. Happy Labor Day weekend! Go say goodbye to Summer in style! xo

Desktop Calendar: August
Hello! It's been awhile I know. I have some stuff to share but for today it's just the August desktop calendar. I'm probably a little biased since I designed these for me, but it's a cute one this month. I hope it inspires you to hang some lanterns and get out with your radio and cocktail and enjoy some late summer air.
As always, click on the image and it'll take you to my flickr account where you can download your preferred size. Enjoy! xo

Free Friday Flicks
Mission Church in Ventura California recently sponsored a family movie night in the park. And they asked me to help spread the word in the form of a poster and a door hanger. They're a new church and they asked another designer (the very talented Mr. Corbyn Tyson) to help them establish an identity which helped dictate the design of the following (the top bit is a generic card that they handed out at the park). Isn't that little girl the cutest?

Krystal + Richard
This invite will always have a special place in my heart because Krystal was the first sweet bride in Australia that asked me to help with her wedding stationery. And she was such a doll to work with! She asked for birds but other than that, she let me just do what I do and she loved the outcome as much as I did which is always a treat. The event was in April but I wanted to get some photos of the day before I shared it with you. And I'm so glad I waited because their photographer (Calli B) did such a great job capturing the day. Isn't Krystal beautiful?!
I created the invitation, wishing well insert and a menu card for the tables. I love the brown and green! And the green berries in those dusty pink roses were stunning weren't they? Such a sweet wedding. (all images are from Calli B)

Masquerade Ball
I was lucky enough to be a guest of a fabulous masquerade ball. And I was even luckier to be asked to design the invitations. The lovely client wanted something pretty and floral and whimsical with bright, fun colors. She and I were both very happy with the outcome.
PS. Aren't these some lovely people?! It was a great time.

Sweet Beachy Wedding
I recently had the pleasure of designing for a lovely girl getting married in a beautiful coastal area of Queensland, Australia. Although the invitation wasn't used in the end, I thought you might like to see it. And since I enjoy putting together these little mood boards I thought I'd give the invitation a little context. I think it helped set the stage for a sweet little party!

The List
I have a dear friend who has the sweetest boyfriend (probably in the whole of Australia) and she recently had a birthday. This gentleman called me up recently and asked for my help with a gift idea he had: he wanted to create a poster-sized to-do list of fun (and challenging) things for her to complete before she hits the big 3-0. I was, of course, delighted. Not only because I'm a big fan of both of them, but because the birthday girl loves pink and scripty fonts and all things sweet and girly. If I wasn't already 30 I'd have printed up one of these for myself...
Cute huh? I love to think of my birthday as my New Year and try to make goals. It feels special and personal and not like I'm sharing a resolution with millions of people. Do you think of your birthday like this? Any special "to-do's" this year?

A Gift for Your February
Hello friends! I'm a little late with this but I wanted to share with you a desktop calendar I'd designed at the beginning of the year. I've created a page for every month and will be offering the digital files for you at the beginning of the month from now until December. I debated whether or not to just wait until March but February is just so darn cute (if I do say so myself). I thought it might make you happy these last few days of February. (Probably easiest to click on the image and visit my Flickr page. Then download the image and set it as your background.)
